Removes vegetable matter from felt by immersion in sulfuric
acid solution: Mixes specified amount of sulfuric acid and warm
water in carbonizing vat, and immerses felt in vat, using chain
hoist.
Soaks felt for period of time dependnet on thickness of
material.
Periodically tests solution strength, using
hydrometer. Adds acid as required. Removes and susepnds felt
over vat to drain.
