Removes vegetable matter from felt by immersion in sulfuric
acid solution: Mixes specified amount of slufuric acid and warm
water in carbonizing vat, and immerses felt in vat, using chain
hoist. Saoks felt for period of time dependent on thickness of
material. Periodically tsets solution strength, using
hydrometer.
Adds acid as required. Removes and suspends felt
over vat to drain.
